Payment & Cancellation Policy
I. Payment Policy
Customers are required to pay a 50% deposit (or 100% full payment) of the tour price notified by Umove Adventure upon registration. Umove Adventure will not reserve spots until the deposit is received. If only 50% is deposited, the remaining balance must be paid in full before the tour departure date.
II. Postponement & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation by the Customer Umove Adventure applies the following cancellation fees:
- Cancellation 15 days or more before departure: 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation 10–14 days before departure: 30% forfeiture of the amount paid.
- Cancellation 5–9 days before departure: 50% forfeiture of the amount paid.
- Cancellation 3–4 days before departure: 70% forfeiture of the amount paid.
- Cancellation 2 days or less before departure: 100% forfeiture (no refund).
2. Reduction in Group Size (for bookings of 2 or more people): If any member wishes to cancel or reduce the number of participants before departure, the standard cancellation policy (as outlined in point 1) will apply to the cancelled participant(s). Group discounts (if applicable) may be recalculated based on the final number of participants.
3. Rescheduling or Switching Tours: Requests to reschedule your departure date or switch to another tour must be submitted via email, WhatsApp, or phone at least 15 days before the original departure date. Any requests received less than 15 days in advance will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the standard cancellation fees outlined in point 1.
4. Partial Group Rescheduling or Switching: If one or more members of a group booking wish to reschedule or switch to another tour, any applicable group discount will be recalculated. The discount will no longer apply (or may be reduced) if the remaining participants fall below the minimum number required for eligibility.
5. Cancellation by Umove Adventure due to Insufficient Participants (shared/group tours): If we must cancel a shared/group tour due to insufficient participants, you will receive a full 100% refund or the option to credit the entire amount indefinitely toward any future departure date or another Umove Adventure tour of your choice.
6. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Umove Adventure in Special Cases: Umove Adventure reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour in the following circumstances:
- Official restrictions from local authorities: If we receive notice prohibiting operations or visitor access after your booking/deposit has been confirmed, we will notify you immediately and work together to find the best alternative solution.
- Unsafe weather conditions on departure day: If conditions pose significant risks (e.g., flash floods, landslides, or severe storms), we will inform you as soon as possible, adjust the plan accordingly, and provide full support to prioritize your safety and interests.
In either case, your payment will be fully credited and held for 1 year from the original payment date. You can apply the credit to the same tour on a future date or transfer it to any other Umove Adventure tour. If the credit remains unused after 1 year, we will automatically issue a full 100% refund.
7. Cancellation due to Force Majeure Force majeure includes events beyond reasonable control, such as war, riots, terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, or changes in government policy/law.
- Neither party may claim penalties or compensation in force majeure cases; both will cooperate to find suitable solutions to mitigate losses.
- The affected party must notify the other immediately and take necessary measures to limit damage. Any remedies or compensation (if available) will depend on relevant service providers.
