This adventurous kayak tour will take you on a journey to explore the important waterways of Hoi An along the Thu Bon River. You will experience many exciting activities, such as visiting boat-building workshops, kayaking through mangroves, visiting riverside vegetable gardens, traditional craft villages, and meeting the friendly and warm-hearted people of Hoi An. This is an ideal choice for active travelers who want to discover a different side of Hoi An.

Difficulty Level (5/10): Most people can participate in the tour, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is 2 days generally. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day for doing the trek with the quite easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and take rest as well.

Experience/skills requirement: Low Physical requirement: Medium Duration: 2 – 3 days Outdoor activity duration: 4 – 6 hours/day Children: From 12 years old can participate.

Suggested physical training: Practice running or kayaking/SUP 1 - 2 weeks in advance. Running twice a week, each session 3 - 5km every night. Or paddling from 2- 3 times, each time is 5 km.

3. Reading and signing the exclude all liability before departing

● The customers who buy adventure tours from Umove Adventure have enough awareness about the level of challenge as well as other physical challenges and other potential dangers during the tour. 4. Kayaking Notes

● Before getting in the water, you will be given theoretical instructions, including techniques, how to use the equipment, and safety guidelines.  

● You must wear life jackets properly.  

● While kayaking, be mindful of obstacles in the river, etc.  

● Staying close to the riverbank and always being aware of motorboats on the river.  

● Strictly following the guide's instructions.

5. Drinks & Beverages during the Riverbank Café Shop

● Drinking water will be provided both on the bus and while kayaking. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of disposable plastic and nylon products, so we suggest bringing a reusable water bottle to refill from the large water containers we provide.  

● During the tour, there will be a stop at a riverside café. Each customer will receive one beverage, such as coffee, tea, or any non-alcoholic drink.

6. Protecting the environment together

● In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, Umove Adventure encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.

● On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

7. Medical assistance

● If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 

● In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
