Itinerary
1st day: Nha Trang - Mon lagoon - Rang ground

06:00 - Picking you up at the hotel (in Nha Trang). The car will transfer the group to the starting point at Dam Mon, where the guide will brief everyone on the rules, basic trekking skills, safety measures, and environmental protection guidelines throughout the journey. The group will do warm-up exercises as instructed by the guide and then begin the Easternmost Point Trekking Tour.

07:30 – 10:30 - The 12 km trekking route covers a variety of terrains, including sandy deserts, pristine coastlines, hills, shrub forests, and scenic viewpoints overlooking untouched beaches and beautiful bays from above.

11:30 - Having a picnic lunch along the trekking route.

13:00 - Trekking to reach Rang ground. Upon arrival, we will set up camp, enjoy cold beers, rest, and swim in the sea.

18:30 - Having a seafood BBQ dinner, followed by free time to relax, sing, and gather around the campfire. Staying overnight inside the tent at Bai Rang.

2nd day: Rang ground – Watching sunrise at the Easternmost Point – Nha Trang

04:00 - Waking up and heading to the Easternmost summit to witness the first sunrise on the Vietnamese mainland. Watching the sunrise, checking in at the Easternmost point, having a cup of coffee, and admiring the magnificent scenery of the Eastern sunrise.

07:30 - Returning to the campsite for breakfast and packing up to board the boat back to the mainland.

09:00 - Arriving at the pick-up point. Transferring to a guesthouse in Mon lagoon to collect belongings, shower, and change clothes.

10:30 - Departing for Nha Trang. The end of the tour.

Difficulty Level (5/10): Most people can participate in the tour, children from 6 years old and above also can join with parents. It will be easier and more comfortable for you to experience outdoor activities if you have good preparation for physical training before the trip. The duration of each trip is 2 days generally. With those trekking tours at this level, it might take 2 – 3 hours/day for doing the trek with the quite easy terrain. At the same level, the kayaking and SUP tours, 2 – 3 hours/ days paddling with the large water surface, and plenty of times to take photos and take rest as well.

4. Food & Drink

● Meals on the tour are quite diverse but mostly seafood. If you are on a diet or vegetarian, you need to inform UA operators in advance so that we can prepare suitable food for you. In case you have special dietary requirements that we cannot meet (for health, medical, religious reasons, etc.), we recommend that you prepare your own food.

Drinking water will be provided on the vehicle and while boating. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of single-use plastic and nylon products, so we recommend that you bring a water bottle (reusable type) to fill the large water bottle provided by us.

5. Important Challenges to Be Aware Of

● When participating in outdoor trips, you need to be aware that weather changes may lead to adjustments in the itinerary. To ensure your safety, UA reserves the right to modify the schedule when necessary. The tour guide will inform you of any itinerary changes as they occur.

6. Safety, Warnings, and Medical Information

● We only provide basic first aid during the tour and do not supply any medication. If you have health conditions that require specific medications, please make sure to bring them yourself.

● If you have cardiovascular diseases or bone and joint issues (knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.), it is strongly recommended that you consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.

1. When is the best time to join this tour?

Mui Doi – the Easternmost point – offers unique beauty all year round, but the ideal time to visit is from January to August. During this period, the weather at Mui Doi, Nha Trang is relatively pleasant and perfectly suited for camping and trekking activities.

 

2. From what age can children join this tour?

This tour is suitable for children 12 years and older, provided they are accompanied by parents or responsible adults.

 

3. Can I join this tour if I have no trekking experience?

The difficulty level is 5/10, making it suitable for most people, including those with little or no trekking experience. The trail features diverse terrains such as sandy deserts, pristine coastlines, hills, shrub forests, and stunning viewpoints overlooking untouched beaches and bays, all of which are fairly easy to navigate. However, you should review the notes and preparation guidelines for a level 5/10 trek provided here.

 

4. Can I join this tour if I’m traveling alone?

Yes, this is a group tour, so solo travelers are welcome to join. However, the minimum group size for the tour to depart is 6 people. If the minimum number is not met, UA will notify you one week in advance so you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.

 

5. How much deposit do I need to pay, and when is the remaining balance due?

When booking the tour, you are required to pay a 50% deposit via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay. The remaining 50% balance must be settled no later than one day before departure, also via bank transfer or credit card through Onepay.

UA will not confirm your booking until the deposit has been successfully received.

 

6. Can the tour accommodate vegetarian or special dietary requests?

Please inform Umove Adventure of your vegetarian or dietary requirements before booking the tour. We will check whether the destination can accommodate your needs and inform you accordingly. Usually, Umove Adventure can arrange vegetarian options, depending on the tour location.

 

7. What camping equipment does Umove Adventure provide on this tour?

8. Can I bring my pet (dog/cat) on the tour?

Due to the challenging itinerary and terrain, this tour is not suitable for pets.

 

9. Will there be an extra charge if I want a private tent?

For group tours (if you are traveling alone), Umove Adventure will typically arrange shared tents for guests of the same gender. If you prefer a private tent, depending on the departure time and tent availability, we are happy to provide a private tent free of charge. However, if additional tents need to be rented, there will be a small extra fee (which we will inform you of at the time of booking).

 

10. Can I postpone or cancel the tour before departure?

Postponement or cancellation fees depend on how far in advance you notify us before the departure date. If you wish to reschedule or switch to another tour, Umove Adventure will assist you in changing the departure date and may or may not apply a fee.
